Book an Appointment
Due to high demand, we strongly recommended to book one follow-up in addition to your initial assessment for one week after your first visit. The goal is to ensure you have a follow-up in a timely manner, with our busy schedule, and your potential limited availability. This will also ensure to get the most optimal results from your treatment plan. If your therapist decides the follow-up is not necessary the next week, they will help you reschedule on your specific treatment plan schedule.
IMPORTANT: Marie-Michelle will be on maternity leave from June 2024. If you are needing dry needling, running assessment or bike fitting, we recommend you book with Isabelle Chaumont. If you are needing upper extremity treatment, we recommend you book with Marc Poirier.
A friendly reminder that the times showing here are in Mountain Standard Time (MST).
Hey there! Looking forward to working with you
Physiotherapy
What we love most is getting you back to what you love most! Physiotherapy is maximizing your quality of life and movement with education, prevention, treatment, pre-hab and rehab. During your one-on-one appointment, we will carefully listen to your story and do a thorough assessment of your movement, strength, posture and nervous system. According to those findings, we will determine a game plan, together, that is realistic and fits your goals. We will use a combination of treatments backed by science, such as dry needling, manual therapy and exercises prescription.
Physiotherapy is covered under most extended health plans.
Concussion
Recovering from a concussion has come a long way from the days of simply resting in a dark room. Early assessment is now recommended, along with multidisciplinary management for persistent symptoms beyond 2-4 weeks. Our specialized physiotherapist is here to assist you with a range of issues such as nausea, cognitive challenges, vision problems, headaches, and balance loss. She offers manual therapy, tailored exercises, and educational support to facilitate your recovery.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy addresses a variety of pelvic health dysfunction (and prevention of dysfunction) including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. It includes a thorough intake discussing your concerns(s) and condition(s). The assessment and treatment includes evaluation of core & pelvic floor muscles, posture, breathing, toileting habits, and other relevant areas. This may or may not include internal assessment and treatment techniques, depending on your comfort level and specific needs.
Climbing Assessment
This session is for any climbing level and is aimed at providing you with a comprehensive summary of your sport-specific abilities. During the assessment, we will discuss your climbing history and goals, objectively measure the strength and power of your upper body related to climbing, evaluate your lower body flexibility and mobility, and look at pulling patterns. Based on our findings, you will be given recommendations to address weaknesses or imbalances and discuss ways to adapt your climbing training.
Running Assessment
This session is for any runner, from a new starter to avid runner, trail to road, and 5 km to ultra marathon. In your first appointment, we will look at your movement pattern, address any injury or imbalances, assess your running gait, give you recommendations, discuss shoes and guide you through a thorough training program. This service is covered under most extended health plans.
Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is the science of treating injuries and conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder. It uses a number of therapeutic interventions to help return you to your highest level of function. Treatment can be non-operative, preventative or post-surgical. This service is covered under most extended health plans.
Custom Knee Bracing
Custom Knee Bracing can help with ligaments, meniscus injuries, fractures, osteoarthritis, and pre- and post-surgery, with the goal to improve stability and reduce pain. Most insurance companies will offer coverage under medical equipment; a prescription by your doctor will be necessary.
Bike Fitting
Your bike should fit your body! If you are a mountain, gravel or road biker, we have you covered. In your appointment, we will do a thorough assessment of movements as well as assess saddle height, fore/aft saddle position, cockpit length, handlebar drop/rise and handlebar rotation. We will do a pedal stroke evaluation to see if any adjustments (including insoles and cleats) are needed. A proper bike fit will provide you with more fun, comfort and efficiency as well as less pain and prevention of biking injury. This service is covered under most extended health plans.
Physio-Yoga
